This policy explains how Highly Effective Marketers handles your personal information when you use highlyeffectivemarketers.com, download a resource, subscribe to the newsletter, book a call or buy a product.

Highly Effective Marketers is a business name of Camelia Vasile, a sole trader in New South Wales, Australia. ABN 13 536 702 903. In this policy, "I", "me" and "HEM" mean Camelia Vasile trading as Highly Effective Marketers.

I follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as good practice.

What I collect

• Details you give me: your name, email address and, where a form asks for it, your phone number, business name and the message you send.

• Purchase details: your name, email, billing address and order details. Card payments are processed by my payment provider. I never see or store your full card number.

• Booking details: the time you book and anything you add to the booking form.

• Website usage: pages visited, time on site, device, browser, approximate location and how you found the site. This is collected through Google Analytics and the website platform, using cookies.

• Email engagement: whether you open newsletter emails and click links in them.

Why I collect it

• To send you the resource, product or booking you asked for

• To send you the HEM newsletter and related emails, if you subscribed or downloaded a resource

• To reply to your enquiries and deliver services you've bought

• To understand which content is useful and improve the site

• To meet my legal, tax and accounting obligations

Email and the newsletter

When you download a free resource, you also join the HEM newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away. I follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth): I only email people who've opted in, and every email identifies me as the sender.

Who I share it with

I don't sell, rent or trade your personal information.

I use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they handle your information on my behalf:

• GoHighLevel (website, forms, email, bookings and CRM), United States

• Google (Google Analytics and Google Workspace), United States

• My payment provider, for processing payments

• My accountant and professional advisers, where needed

Some of these providers store data overseas, mainly in the United States. I choose providers with recognised security standards, but by using the site you acknowledge your information may be stored outside Australia.

I'll also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to make forms and bookings work and to measure traffic through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Keeping it secure

Your information is stored in password-protected systems with access limited to me and the people who help me run the business. I keep it while you're a subscriber or customer, and for as long as tax and accounting law requires after that.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it (unless I'm legally required to keep it). Email [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, email me first at [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
